the oldest flea mart area in Singapore. it has been there since daddy's time and i'm sure the people here have been through so many long years experience selling their 'barang-barang'. some are junks, some are antiques. it all depends on how you perceive the sentimental values or oddity towards the goods here.
the stall vendor on this picture gave a remark right after i snapped this. he asks if i was a reprter so i declined and he asked for $10. i was stunned for a moment but i was quick enough to re-act. i offered him a copy instead and he accepted the offer so i jotted down his address on my small little notebook. i learnt something on photojournalism today. do not take it for granted that everyone is a camera whore! haha. sometimes i do ask permission first like the bandung shots but this time i was just being trigger happy. some of you may know why. (20D) hahaha!
